$5.3 Million Global Settlement - DUI Auto Accident
Injury Legal Center obtained a 5.3 million global settlement for a man and woman who were struck by a DUI driver who ran through a stop sign in the Desert-Indio area, County of Riverside.
Man, who was the driver, suffered fractures to his left foot and right femur. He underwent an emergency surgery and then a month after the accident, underwent a second surgery to repair his left ankle fracture. Post-surgery, he was recommended to continue treatment with his orthopedic doctor and physical therapy.
Woman was in the front passenger seat, lost consciousness and sustained lower extremity injuries along with fractures to her neck, left ankle, and traumatic brain injury. She was unable to have a surgery immediately due to the swelling of her left leg and wore a neck brace for three months. She underwent the surgery for her left ankle two months after the collision and continued treatment with her orthopedic doctor.
